I am the 99%!
I am 14 and I am terrified for my country.
My dad has been laid off and is working a job that requires him to make a commute that takes 1/3 of his pay for gas. My future of getting a job seems to be getting slimmer and slimmer.

I am glad that you at the age of 14 are so well tuned into the intricacies of business and life here in the US that you can make the claim that you wont be able to find a job when you hit 16…in 2 years. Stay in school, learn all you can and then goto college. While you are there, enroll in a major that is actually worth something (non liberal arts) and make something of yourself. You would be shocked if you realized just how much benefit can come from some personal responsibility.
I am a 2007 college grad.
I (am lucky enough to) make $40k
I cannot keep my head above water.

How does you being unable to live within your means correlate to Wall Street screwing you?
So you mean to tell me that you make 52000 a year and pay 35% taxes(18200)?
I work with a soldier who as a PV2(E-2) makes a grand total of 19728 a year pre tax.
You are seriously trying to tell me that you pay nearly as much in taxes as he makes in a year?
I graduate college in 7 months with a “useless” degree in Classical Studies. I have worked very hard and am on track to graduate with highest Latin honors. I am in a Greek organization with many volunteer hours under my belt.
MY JOB PROSPECTS?
I am one of the lucky ones, but I am still the 99%.
Welcome to the American nightmare.
I am the 99 percent.
You knowingly decided to obtain a degree in Classical Studies knowing full well that there is no future in it. You are graduating with highest honors in a long dead language. You did this knowing full well that you will have to pay for it. YOU made this decision, not Wall Street.
You are a whiner, you have made you bed and now you have to sleep in it.
The bird of paradise alights only upon the hand that does not grasp.
